How VANTAGE works

A plain-language walkthrough of what your bot does with your ETH on Robinhood Chain: where the coins come from, how it decides to buy and sell, what every dial means, and where the safety rails are.

01

What VANTAGE is

VANTAGE is a personal, always-on trading bot for meme coins launched through the Pons launchpad on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663, an Arbitrum Orbit L2). Every account gets its own on-chain wallet and its own copy of the strategy engine. You fund the wallet, set the dials, flip the switch, and the engine buys fresh launches and sells them by your rules while you do something else.

Nothing here is simulated. Every buy and sell is a real transaction on Robinhood Chain that you can open in the block explorer. VANTAGE never holds a shared pool of funds and never co-signs with anyone: your bot spends only what is in its own wallet.

VANTAGE is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Robinhood or the Pons team.

02

Where the coins come from

Pons (ponsfamily.com/launchpad) is a pump.fun-style launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Each coin is an ERC-20 with a fixed 1,000,000,000 supply, sold through a constant-product bonding curve contract. Buying pushes the price up along the curve; selling pushes it back down. Once the curve collects its graduation threshold of ETH, the coin "graduates": liquidity moves to a DEX pool and the curve closes.

VANTAGE watches the Pons factory contract at 0x7eD598BcEf8bd9Edd8C97A195C6d13f40801EC7e for TokenLaunched events. This is the same factory address hard-coded in the ponsfamily.com front end, so every coin that shows up on their launchpad shows up on the VANTAGE board within one scan cycle. The bot trades against each coin's bonding-curve contract directly, the same contract the site's Buy button calls.

Not every Pons curve is priced in ETH. Creators can quote a coin in a tokenized stock (NVDA, TSLA, QQQ, BULL…) or in USDG. VANTAGE records the quote asset for every coin and only ever trades ETH-quoted curves, because your bot wallet only holds ETH.

03

Your bot wallet

When you press Deploy, VANTAGE generates a brand-new secp256k1 key pair. The private key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a server-side secret before it is stored, and it is decrypted only inside the trading engine at the moment a transaction needs signing. It never touches the browser and is never logged.

You fund the bot by sending ETH on Robinhood Chain to the address shown on your dashboard. Gas on the chain is a fraction of a cent, so a few thousandths of an ETH is enough to run a real strategy.

You keep custody at all times. From the dashboard you can withdraw ETH to any address, or export the private key and import it into MetaMask, Rabby or any EVM wallet. Any tokens the bot is holding (including graduated coins) come with it.

04

The tick loop

Discovery runs roughly every minute. Separately, the minute cron opens a 58-second exit-monitoring window targeting a check every 3 seconds. The open bot dashboard also requests exit checks every 3 seconds. Per-wallet database leases serialize trading and manual exits. Cron must be deployed and enabled for unattended monitoring; invocation gaps, RPC delays, approvals and pending transactions mean a sale within 2–5 seconds cannot be guaranteed.

Each tick does the following, in order, for every running bot:

  1. Scan. Read new TokenLaunched events from the factory since the last cursor block and insert any new coins.
  2. Refresh. Read live reserves and graduation state from every un-graduated curve so market caps, curve progress and sell quotes are current.
  3. Manage exits. For each open position, quote the exact ETH you would receive selling the whole stack right now (after the 1% curve fee). Compare it with cost basis and hold time. Sell on an observed spot-price decrease, five minutes of continuously observed unchanged price, take-profit, backup stop-loss or the time stop. The price-drop rule compares consecutive reserve ratios, not fee-adjusted PnL. Missing observations reset the inactivity timer.
  4. Look for entries. If the bot has a free slot, is past its cooldown, and has enough ETH for a buy plus the gas reserve, walk the newest coins first and buy the first one that passes every filter.
  5. Record. Wait for the receipt, read the actual amounts from the Trade event, update the position and write the trade log.
One tick · every ~60 slease held
  1. 01Scan factorynew TokenLaunched events
  2. 02Refresh curvesreserves · progress · quotes
  3. 03Manage exitsTP · SL · time stop
  4. 04Find entriesfilters → simulate → buy
  5. 05Recordreceipt → Trade event → log

Triggered by a Vercel cron and lazily by board visits. A database lease guarantees only one engine runs at a time; the loop then repeats for every running bot.

05

Entry filters

A coin must pass all of these before the bot spends anything on it:

Optional: avoid flagged developers. Enabled by default in the deployment form; existing bots keep it off until their owner enables it in Strategy dials. Before buying, the engine checks the same creator wallet against indexed ETH launches. It flags a non-graduated curve when real ETH reserves (excluding phantom reserves) fall at least 90% from an observed peak of 0.01 ETH or more. Matching entries are skipped with the creator address and source token recorded in the activity log. Existing positions still follow normal exit rules, and turning the filter off makes those skipped coins eligible again.

This is a suspected-risk heuristic, not a verified list of scammers or proof that a creator caused a sell-off. Monitoring starts when this feature is enabled on the site: it does not reconstruct earlier peaks. The newest curves are sampled each refresh, plus a rotating batch of older ETH curves. Gaps between samples, unindexed launches, post-graduation rugs and new creator wallets can escape detection. Unknown history is allowed, not certified safe. Ordinary sell-offs may trigger false positives. A later observed graduation removes that curve from screening evidence. No filter guarantees protection against rugs or losses.

FilterWhat it checksWhy
quote = ETHThe curve is priced in native ETH, not a stock token or USDG.The bot wallet only holds ETH; anything else would revert.
not graduatedThe curve is still open.Graduated coins trade on the DEX, which the bot does not touch.
min ageThe coin is older than your minimum age (default 20 s).Pons applies a snipe tax of up to 99% in the first seconds after launch. Waiting sidesteps it.
max curve %Curve progress toward graduation is below your ceiling (default 35%).Keeps you early on the curve instead of buying the top of someone else's run.
not held / not recently soldYou have no open position in it and did not just exit it.One position per coin; no immediate re-entry after a stop-out.
reserve capYour buy is at most 5% of the curve's ETH reserve.Bigger fills move the price against you before you have even finished buying.
simulation passeseth_call of the exact buy succeeds and returns tokens.Launch configs differ (creator tax, buyer rules, per-wallet caps). If the curve would reject it, the bot never sends it.

Buys are sent with a 2% slippage floor on the quoted token output. If the curve moves against you by more than that between quote and inclusion, the transaction reverts and nothing is spent but gas.

06

Exit rules

Exits are evaluated on every tick against the realisable value of the position: what the curve would actually pay you right now for the whole stack, after fees. Marks are never based on the last trade price.

RuleFires whenDefault
take-profitrealisable value ≥ cost × (1 + TP%)+40%
price dropspot price falls below the last observed priceany decrease
no movementcontinuously observed price is unchanged5 min
sell allowner confirms Sell all; new entries pauseall open positions
stop-lossrealisable value ≤ cost × (1 − SL%)−25%
time stopposition is older than max hold60 min
graduationthe coin graduates while heldpark, never sell

Large positions on thin curves are sold in up to four chunks per tick so one sell does not crater the price into your own order. Every sell carries the same 2% slippage floor as buys.

When a coin graduates while you hold it, the bot marks the position parked and stops touching it. The tokens stay in your wallet; export the key and sell them on ponsfamily.com or any DEX whenever you like.

07

Strategy dials

Everything the bot does is driven by these settings on your dashboard. Changes apply on the next tick.

DialMeaningDefault
Buy sizeETH spent per entry.0.002 ETH
Max positionsHow many coins may be held at once.3
Take-profitSell when realisable value is this far above cost.40%
Stop-lossSell when realisable value is this far below cost.25%
Max holdSell regardless after this many minutes.60
Min ageIgnore coins younger than this many seconds.20 s
Max curveOnly enter below this curve progress.35%
Gas reserveETH the bot always keeps untouched for exits.0.0005 ETH
CooldownMinimum seconds between two buys.45 s

The gas reserve matters more than it looks: a bot that spends its last wei on a buy cannot pay to sell. The engine refuses any entry that would leave less than reserve + gas buffer in the wallet.

08

How the numbers are computed

Market cap is spot price × the 1 billion launch supply, the same convention pump.fun and the Pons site use. Spot price comes from the curve's live reserves: quoteReserve ÷ tokenReserve. For ETH-quoted coins the board converts to dollars using a Coinbase ETH/USD spot (Kraken as fallback) refreshed every minute; the ETH figure is shown underneath. USDG-quoted coins show directly in dollars; stock-quoted coins show in their own unit because there is no reliable dollar price for the quote token on-chain.

Curve progress is the curve's real ETH collected as a percentage of its graduation threshold, read from the curve each tick.

Position P&L on your dashboard is realisable: quoted sell proceeds after the 1% fee minus what you paid, including gas.

Coin logos are pinned to IPFS by the creator. Public gateways rate-limit hotlinks, so VANTAGE serves them through its own /api/logo proxy with a long immutable cache.

09

Safety and limits

  • Real money. Meme coins on a bonding curve routinely go to zero. Fund the bot only with ETH you can afford to lose entirely.
  • One engine. A lease lock makes overlapping ticks impossible, so a bot can never double-buy or double-sell the same position.
  • Simulate first. Every transaction is dry-run with eth_call before it is signed. Rejected calls cost nothing.
  • Pending safety. If a transaction is sent but the receipt is slow, the position is frozen until the chain confirms it, so a late inclusion cannot be counted twice.
  • Pause any time. Flipping the switch off stops new entries at the next tick. Open positions stay open until you sell them or resume the bot.
  • No shared keys. Each bot has its own wallet. VANTAGE has no treasury, no pooled funds, and no ability to move ETH between users.

FAQ

Do I need a Robinhood account?
No. Robinhood Chain is a public network; anyone can hold ETH on it. VANTAGE never touches your brokerage account.
How do I get ETH onto Robinhood Chain?
Bridge from Ethereum or Arbitrum with the official Robinhood Chain bridge, or withdraw directly from Robinhood if your account supports it. Send the ETH to your bot address.
Can the bot trade coins from other launchpads?
Not today. It reads one factory: the Pons launch factory used by ponsfamily.com.
Why did my bot skip a coin that pumped?
Usually the min-age or max-curve filter, or the coin was quoted in a stock token instead of ETH. Check the trade log on your dashboard; skipped candidates are noted with the reason.
What happens to graduated coins?
They are parked. Export your key and sell them on ponsfamily.com or the DEX pool directly.
Is there a fee?
VANTAGE takes nothing. You pay Robinhood Chain gas and the 1% Pons curve fee on each trade, same as trading by hand.
Ready?
Deploy a bot and fund it with a few thousandths of an ETH.
